Dr. Sam about Diane 35From: Christa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 30 May 2001 12:58:20 -0500 (CDT)
Can you try to get pregnant right after stopping the Diane 35 or do you have to wait? I thought the anti-androgens only affect a male fetus if being taken during pregnancy. It's about the 12 week or so that it would be dangerous to have antiandrogens in the system. Does it take such a long time for the Diane to get out of the system? Also, everyone keeps talking about BCP and IR and I had asked you about the Diane and the glucophage at one point and you said that my chances were good for the IR to be corrected since I'm on the gluco even though I'm taking the Diane 35. Do you still think that's true? Thanks for your time.
