hi there i live in england and have a few question i would like someone to answer for me if they can

i am over weight and at 19 stone aprox i have pco i took the depo injection in 1999 and i do believe that has something to do with the cause

right now i want to get better i am so worried about this is seems to be taking over my life all i can think about is pco thios pco that and that i will never have children i so desperately want.

i went to my doctor who in turn just told me there was nothing to worry about and basically didnt give me the light of day just looked as though i was pestering him

i went to a gynea who in turn took a laporoscopy and an untra sound and told me i had pco and when i said i came on my period however every 2 weeks he said i was ovulating and there was nothing more i could do i think i had a period every 14 days aprox since easter 2000

i then was having a period aprox every 23 days etc however some light and some heavy now they have stopped

i so desperately want to have the ovarian drilling or wedge reduction but i am scared

please could you tell me what this metformin is like and what other treatment i can take or have i would be really grateful

i go to the gym 3 times a week and i am on weight watchers but nothing is happening only im putting on weight rather then losing

please help help help

desperately awaiting your advices
