Is it Safe to comine these medications for PCOS?

Hi - I just started Glucophage to treat my PCOS. I am alos on Aldactone for High blood pressure and on Demulen (BCP) as I have been for years. I heard a rumor that the BCP is bad for IR. Is that true? I am wondering if taking all of these medications at the same time is safe. My OB/GYN told me I didn't need to see him again until next year, and I feel a bit funny about not having any blood work done to see how I am reacting to the Glucophage as well. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
