Re: Trying to get pregnantFrom: =?iso-8859-2?q?Zalányi Sámuel?= (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 26 May 2001 08:14:11 +0100 (MET DST)
Hi, Clomid works for PCOS women, sometimes better than wanted. The risk of multiples is pretty high for PCOSers. The other problem if you don't address the insulin resistance/hyperandrogenism problem before getting pg, the risk of miscarriage is high. Treating insulin resistance most often results in ovulatory cycles within several months. If you don't get pg within 6 mo, than it's indicated to add clomid. For your info Sam (Ob/Gyn,RE)
