Now that I know something about PCOS, I'm very certain that my maternal grandmother had it. She had 3 children, but she had difficulty conceiving between #1 and #2 (13 years). She also had other symptoms that I can recall (skin tags, obese). She died from complications of adult-onset, Type II diabetes in 1989 (age 68).
