Hi Christa,

Too many ifs. If you take Diane correctly, you don't get pregnant. If you take antibiotics with it, then you may know that your contraception is not complete (thus you have to use something additionally). But pregnancy is contrainidicated while on Diane because of the possible birth defects of a male fetus. Folic acid: naturally metformin doesn't inhibit all folic acid to be absorbed, it only decreases the absorption. Thus adding ca 800 mcg is sufficient. For your info
