Sorry about your bad experience with Dr Glueck. I don't know him personally I have only read abstracts from his reasearch studies along with his other colleages and have found his website a source of encouragement since I am one of those woman who is prone to miscarriages and have not had a doctor recommend my staying on an insulin sensitizer while pregnant which I feels is very important aspect of why I loose my babies late term (21 weeks and soaring insulin levels). Dr. Thatcher also recommends continuing on metformin and adding extra folic acid (I dont know him personally eigther but love his Book!). I am now will be seeing a Doctor at Stanford University who is a leading researcher of PCOS (June 14th)....would be interresting to see what his views on this subject are. Dona
