Christa,

I was taking Diane 35 for 6 years until they took me off it to start Metformin.

I don't know if I am the only person who finds not knowing when my period is coming and feeling very sick difficult.

I could not tolerate the Metformin and therefore came off it. I wanted to be on the pill so I could know what was coming and for contraception (at 22 I have no desire fo rchildren yet). My career comes first at the moment and I can't take a medication that makes me that sick and lead a normal life.

I don't really know what to do my doctor is really good and does want to treat IR (I don't know if I am as I never been tested) and I want to treat the cause not the symtoms but not as the expense of my career and social life.

What is everyones opinion.
