Dr. Sam--Question about meds interaction

Hi,
As a newbie to the boards, I've been watching the discussion about BCP's
and PCOS. What I've read worries me. I've been on Ortho Tri-cyclene
for about 4 yrs. I started Glucophage XR 4 days ago. I don't want to
negate the effects of the Gluco by staying on the BCPs, even though they
keep my cycle regular. Should I consider quitting the BCPs?
Also, in my last post I asked for advice on how to counter my seemingly
constant fatigue. One of the ladies recommended natural progesturone
cream. Can I do this safely even if I am on BCPs?
