Regarding metformin at the begining I have diahrea, but after 1 month or so it stopped and now its fine for me, I take 1700 mg/day (two pils). About Insuline Resistance it is better you are being made the test, here in Spain my endocrine made me stay 4 days at hospital with no food at all, and measuring me each 6 hours the glucose and the insuline, because he thought I could have some pancreas tumor, fortunately what I have is hyperinsulinemia, which made me my sugar down sometimes if I do not control it to 42 (normal range goes 70-110). If you think that around 11,30 am and 6,00 pm you feel tire and get better with some candy, just do the test. Metformin also brings my period back more or less to normal, sometimes on time another with 1 week late, I still do not ovulate I tried a commbination of Met and Clomiphen with no results , so I have give up clomifen., > >I know it is hard to cope with all this, but we have to arrange this, because the consequences as you know are not nice.
