Mircette has been a life-saver for me, both as birth control and treating my condition. It has regulated my cycles, lessened the hair loss on my head and slowed down the hair on my face. I have not gained weight since going on Mircette (2+ years ago), with little changes in my diet or exercise. But mostly it has made me feel like a normal person again--something that Zoloft, Prozac and Paxil couldn't do after numerous tries. So although BCP are not for everyone, please don't dismiss them entirely. Obviously there is something in there that some people need, and it would be wrong to onvince someone to NOT take them just because of your opinion.
