I started taking Metformin in August 1999 for PCOS. I started with 500 mg per day for four months, I stopped taking Metformin in December of 1999. My main concerns was the affect that it had on my pancreas! I felt slight sensations on the left upper quadrant of my abdomin. What other side effects have you noticed with Metformin? and did you experience any hair loss prior to taking Metformin and did it help?

Thanks Marie.
