Hi,

Being IR is the stage prceding type2 diabetes. Therefore have many PCOSers large babies and become gestational diabetes first and type2 later. Glucophage improving the use of the excess insulin in your system lowers its level. High insulin is the culprit for the hyperproduction of androgens in the ovaries and androgens for anovulation. Hope this helps to understand
