adrenals or ovaries?

I have read that even if ovaries appear to be polycystic on a sonogram you should still have the "Dex Test" done to see where the androgens are coming from. Apparently, the little cysts can form simply from having too much androgens in the body regardless of where the androgens are coming from.

The book I read this info was titled Good News About Women's Hormones.
