Re: question for Dr. Sam on DHEAS levelFrom: =?iso-8859-2?q?Zalányi Sámuel?= (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 4 May 2001 18:33:18 +0100 (MET DST)
Hi Sujatha, It is a little difficult to explain this, because both tend to move in the same direction. However, DHEA and its sulphate DHEAS are common precoursors of several steroid hormones including both testosterone and estrogens, thus one may speculate if fewer DHEAS is turned into testosterone its level may increase (?) What about your other symptoms (weight, ovulation, skin?) Sam
