I am not entitled to criticise PCOS websites, but this is clearly a misinformation. I do not know what drugs are available in Australia, so I wouldn't say this and this drug is missing. But to list Roaccutane for the treatment of acne in PCOS is a mistake. Roaccutane is a symptomatic treatment for PCOS at best.
The mechanism of action of cyproterone acetate is not reducing testosterone, but blocking its action on the receptor. Secondarily it may cause a reduction as well.
