my guess would be that people often see a worsening of symptoms after going off of diane or any BCP because the BCP only treats symptoms. all the while, the other issues are perculating under the surface. some pills even make those other symptoms worse. that would mean:

1. you have clear skin from the pill. the bad skin you develop is of course going to look horrendous in comparison. maybe you just forget how bad it was before, and compared to the clear skin you've been enjoying, it DOES look worse.

2. since underlying issues have been worsening unnoticed, your skin might very well become worse than ever... because under that smooth skinner surface your health is now worse than ever.

those would be my guesses. since you're doing the glucophage as well, you are addressing those underlying issues, and (knock on wood) you probab;y won't see a worsening of your symptoms when you go off the diane.

one thing though... doesn't diane have an antiandrogen in it? isn't aldactone + diane a little unnecassary? of course, if we had diane in this country, i might go all out for overkill as well... i'd do anything do be less hairy...
