Hi Zowie - I was intending to thank everyone who has responded, it's VERY MUCH appreciated, I've only had about 20 responses so far but its enough to begin and I expected it to be a work in progress for a while ... Thank so much for taking time to respond. I didn't collect the research for purpose of posting here on the forum (but I'm never beyond sharing) A couple of interesting statistics that seem to be pretty consistant are the number of women who had to see more than 3 doctors before their illness was attributed to anything other than their weight AND the number of women who were actually diagnosed at one time or another but given no treatment options.... it's frightening really.
