Hi Karen,

Metformin 500 mg/day is definitely low dose. But I would have suggested 500 2X or the stronger one (850) 2X. Administering metformin 3X is not very helpful, because it should be venely distributed (every 12h or so). As for guaranteed results, even with the higher doses you may need several months to return to regular cycles. Hope this helps you
