I was taking birth control pills for several years, and when I went off them, my periods stopped....and then the hair growth and acne got bad. My Dr. put me back on birth control pills. I don't know if it's helping, though my period has returned. Is this enough to stop the other symptoms? Also I am a type 1diabetic and recently got an insulin pump. I'm wondering if there's any link between type 1 diabetes and PCOS.... It all seems like a coincidence. Thanks for any thought anyone has on these questions.
