Hi Lisa,

You may have mistaken your dr. You will never get pregnant while on Utovlan (or Provera, or Prometrium) because they block ovulation if you take them continuously adn even disturbe follicular growth if you take them during day 16-25 cyclically. Before clomid you should have your carbohydrate metabolism checked and if you show signs of insulin resistance (IR-as most PCOSers do) you should start one of the insulin sensitizers.
