'Medications' That Fight Hair Loss..and Help Reduce Hirsutism...From: Annette (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 11 Apr 2001 16:17:10 -0500 (CDT)
Most medications that fight hair loss...also help reduce hirsutism in women...because it all has to do with "blocking DHT," and certain androgens. Here is a list of medications. I am not telling anybody to run out and get them...but instead...do your own research...and stay informed...so that you may inform your doctors. I hope that this helps. Aldactone/Spironolactone Androcur/Cyproterone Acetate Azelex Buserelin Casodex Cromakalim Cyclosporin Cytadren Diane-35 Diazoxide Estrogens Flutamide Lamin Gel Inocoterone Lupron Pinacidil Progesterone Propecia Proscar Simvastin Tacrolimus Tagament Turosteride Sincerely....Annette
