Hi Chris,
Thanks for your encouraging words.I had my first laser treatment 3 1/2
weeks ago and it went really well. I noticed the hair falling out 2
weeks later and I have very little growth in the area now. I go for my
second treatment on the 25th of this month I cant wait.I paid 570.00 for
3 treatments and it was well worth it.I think the cost of treatment
really varies by the area you live but I would have paid 3 times that to
feel better about myself and besides it's the first time I have ever
spent money on just something for me that is not an absolute nessecity
and I think a few of you ladies can relate to that especially if your
married! My derm told me that if I didnt noticed an improvement in 2
weeks that she would retreat my neck and chin at no additional cost but
so far I am happy.she charges 200.00 per single treatment for
maintanance which I dont think is too bad. I could have prepaid at a
lower cost but I am hoping I wont need to much maintance. I did fill
the Rx for the Vaniqa cream which I thought was really expensive at
66.00 a tube I havent used it yet though I am going to wait and see if I
even need it after my third laser tx and will most definatley not use it
if by some miracle I become pregnant. My facial hair dosent stop
growing while I am pregnant as someone once said it would on here.I
guess I just have way too much testosterone in my system.
My doctor had also told me that it would not be permanant because her
machine is too new and she dosent know the long term result yet with any
of her patients but she did say that 95% of her patients have been very
happy with the results. the best results being on people with my
simular complection. I am very fair with very dark hair and roots. So
you can imagine that when I have hair on my face it shows badly cream
bleaches dont work on my facial hair because it is just to dark!
Thanks again,Dona
