My doctor wants me on ProgesteroneFrom: Kristin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 31 Mar 2001 19:48:35 -0600 (CST)
This past January I was diagnosed with PCOS, but with very few of the "sympoms". I have very regular periods, until this last week. I am 6 days late and my doctor wants to put me on progesterone to start a period. I am not convinced that I am not pregant, although my progesterone levels were low and my husbands sperm has a low motility. And 2 store bought pregnancy test were negative. I think I have a chance, espcially since I have never been late (hard to believe but true). My million dollar question out there (besides some support is) should I take the progesterone? What would make my period late (there are no factors that would make me late). Thanks for the advice and help!
