Helen--

I'm outraged to hear that the company won't let you use the coupons because you are a woman!! That's something I would fight! Call them up and ask for the highest ranking person you can speak with in customer service!! How dare they discriminate like that. You are using their product!! You are paying for their product and deserve to get the rebates (or whatever the coupons are). Would you be allowed to use them if you were buying the Propecia for you husband? (that's just a hypothetical, I don't know if you're actually married or not and it doesn't matter -- the point is the same)

When I was first prescribed my BCP to try to help with the hormone imbalance related to my PCOS, the pharmacy told me I had to pay for the full amount because my health insurance doesn't pay for BCP. I called them right up on the phone and told them I was being prescribed the BCP for a medical condition and it was to be treated like any other prescription. They did cover it after that!!

I'm just saying, if I were you I would make a fuss to get what you're rightfully entitled to. That really pisses me off. Sorry if I got a little crazy. We have a hard enough time dealing with our symptoms we shouldn't be getting walked on by the system too!!
