Christa/blood workFrom: Helen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 30 Mar 2001 01:22:55 -0500
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Dear Christa, This might be kind of obvious to you, but it wasn't to me.... Being on birth control pills can make your hormone level tests normal. I found that out at the first PCOS conference, when they had mass blood tests for a study, then explained that your system had to be clear of BCP's or anything else that might affect hormone levels. I really wanted to take part in the studies, so I stopped the pill for four months, then went to University of Pennsylvania, which was conducting the study and had another blood draw. You guessed it. Completely different results. helen of jersey
