Dear Christa,

This might be kind of obvious to you, but it wasn't to me.... Being on birth control pills can make your hormone level tests normal. I found that out at the first PCOS conference, when they had mass blood tests for a study, then explained that your system had to be clear of BCP's or anything else that might affect hormone levels. I really wanted to take part in the studies, so I stopped the pill for four months, then went to University of Pennsylvania, which was conducting the study and had another blood draw. You guessed it. Completely different results.
