Dear Annette,

I have been taking Propecia, the 1 mg version of finasteride, for more than a year, and it has helped a lot with my scalp hair. I stopped taking it for a month and saw immediately how much good it had been doing. I highly recommend it. it is, however, expensive, and you must be using birth control if you are sexually active because it can cause serious birth defects. The real downside is the company won't let me cash in on the coupons they send me since I'm not a male.
