I had my appointment with the Internal Medicine Dr. today. Hoping to come out of it in a new direction. I feel like I took two steps backward. I came ready I took my reference materials with me, my questions, and backup. Yes, Back up!!!! I took my sons who are 8 and 10. They are really looking forward to me not being sick.(They said)!!! Anyway,,,,,, Nothing Happened.... I told him my frustrations and my concerns..... They do not want me to take the birth control pill because my sister died 4 years ago from breast cancer (She was 30 years old)... The whole appointment centered around my family history of cancer and what I need to do to avoid getting Cancer.... Don't get me wrong I am concerned about this especially after facing this a few years ago myself with my cervix.... I want my PCOS treated. I want someone who knows what I need to do and what I need to take to feel normal again. Why is this not handle properly??? I tried several times to turn around his attention. I did get a RX for my acne,,,,some kind of antibiotic..... Here comes the Yeast infection next.... :( Thanks for letting me vent Renee
