Hi Christa, You reminded me that when I saw the wrong Endo (it was a metabolic one), she wanted to run tests on me for Cushings. Gave me 2 cortisol pills to take and I was due to come back for bloodwork, which was supposed to also occur simultaneously as the GTT tests. I wasn't able to make it back there for so long, and I finally just forgot about it! I did find 2 sites regarding Cushings: http://cushings.homestead.com and http://www.medhelp.org/nadf The first seems to be the most informative, although I only just found them. I do find it interesting that a LOT of the common PCOS symptoms are also associated with Cushings. Guess I'll have to do some more reading and speak to the RE on Friday when I go for my appt. I wonder if it is possible to have BOTH---but also wonder how hard Cushings is to detect. Both are rare, but Cushings apparently seem to be only a rare occurence, and not a rare TOPIC like PCOS. Guess I'll have to check into it. Now you got me concerned! lol :)
