Dear Donna, thank you for a reply :) As for when i move to Texas i will be about 2 hours north of Houston in a small town near Lufkin, and yes i have written down who you said i will need to see when i get there...Over the years they have given me SO many meds(is why i use the term lab rat) i honestly do not remember them all, i remember in 1996 i was on 14 pills a day, everything from (hope spelling is correct) estigen, provera shots twice a week, provera oral, more oral contraceptions than i can poke a stick at,and im now at a point where for example my period suddenly stops (which it does when it wants)& i can't make the specialists understand that it may not be the meds that have stopped the bleeding, because as a pattern that is what and has happened uncountable times....they just stop, so when i tell a dr that, they think: "well the meds are working" and a few days later im bleeding again. As for weight loss, i guess everybody is different, i have found that what suits me and my PCOS is a 30-60 mins walk a day, 2 shakes with multi vitamins, then my walk early evening, then my main meal (anything i want)...my gp told me it is best to walk before my main meal and not after because when you exersice youre naturally burning fat/creating muscle and so forth and the body hungers for replacement is why when you exercise you are generally hungry straight afterwards....or i alternate my meals depending on my day, but no matter what i exersice before my dinner time and eat or shake straight after...and its working...about the only thing that is working :) irony At Tue, 27 Mar 2001, Donna wrote: >

>>Rebecca, You poor dear as soon as you get to Texas you need to go to a Reproductive Endocrinologist. That Dr over there sounds like he is to busy trying to be the best Dr that he forgot that you the patient is what makes him the best and in my book he sounds like the worst Dr. Have they ever given you anything to try to stop the bleeding? You are in my thoughts and in my prayers. Keep up the good work (with the weight lose) and don't give up. There are DR out there who care and who know what PCOS is and how to help you. Where in Texas are you moving? I am from South Texas but in Va for now with Hubby in the Navy. Good luck and don't give up.
