Christa....I have been on Spironolactone for about four years now...it does help the acne. In fact...it is what helped to clear up mine... It does take about 6 months...so don't go off of it...it will help your hirsutism...since yours is not that bad... I am so happy for you sweetie...keep your chin up...and keep trying... Do not go off the Spironolactone..okay? Trust me on this one. I know. Sincerely....Annette
