Hi Alexandra,

You can't get pregnant while on Prometrium (progesterone) because it blocks ovulation. Progesterone may help to bring about a period, if you have sufficient amount of estrogen in your system. For this latter purpose synthetic progestins (Provera) are better. Hope this helps
