Hi Carley!

I can't (and WON'T) make you any promises, but I do have a Clomid baby. Well, she's now 16 years old! She was born when I was 24. My son is 7. He took longer to "create" (for lack of a better word). I had to take Pergonal and Metrodin (these were the highly publicized super power fertility drugs of the 1980's and 1990's) to get him, and even then it took four cycles before we had success. Keep in mind, I was older and this was before they knew much about the insulin link and other hormonal and health problems related to PCOS.

I know of a few ladies who have had success becoming pregnant and having healthy babies just by getting the needed medications to deal with the insulin resistance.....and this was after they'd had the injectible, powerful fertility drugs with no success.

So....don't give up hope! *HUG* It probably won't be easy, and you won't really know what it's like to space your children by planning, like most other couples take for granted, but I assure you, you will treasure your children.

You don't mention how old you are, but they are finally listening to us in the medical professions and beginning to take our needs and problems seriously. No longer can they brush us aside and say "it's all in your head......relax......lose weight....etc.". This means that the younger ladies will have a greater chance to have biological children if they want, as well as all of us having increased chances of better health in our future.

Best wishes and you, like all the others going thru the infertility battle, are in my prayers!

Hugs,

Shelley spryte@dnsonline.net

Hi everyone I'm new to this site and i was wondering if anyone out there has any success stories about being on serophene! This is my first month on serophene... I have a 2 year old son in which it took me and my husband a long time to concieve with him and last year I was diagnosed with Pcos and the doctor has put me on serophene 100mg. I was wondering what the chances are of me getting pregnant and if any one out there has had any success with it! I so much want to have another child!
