Forgot to mention one thing, if you've only had an EPISODE of anemia (you said it was 2 years ago), then it was probably caused by something going on at that time (were you pregnant or sick for example?) Anemia, typically, is not something that comes and goes. If you only had it occur once or twice, then it's nothing to be really concerned about. Just keep track of what you were doing or how you were feeling when you got the episode to help prevent it. So in your case, I'd say it's not related to PCOS but something else.
