Hi Vivian, I've had anemia since birth, and have had PCOS since I was about 10, so in my case, the PCOS came later. Since PCOS is still widely UNKNOWN or understood by Dr's, it's hard to say if anemia is another symptom. (We still don't know what causes PCOS). I haven't heard of too many of us "cysters" who have anemia as well, but there are a few. My severe anemia does make the PCOS symptoms much harder to deal with since I'm so weak all the time, but whether or not it's a symptom or even RELATED to PCOS we don't know yet.
