Samantha,

I too an in SE Michigan. Ann Arbor to be exact. I am actually being treated by my primary care doctor, Dr. Kristen Krieger at U of M. She doesn't claim to be an expert, but she listens to my opinions and is willing to try things (I'll probably get a script for Met today!). I really like her.

As for the BCPs you're on, I read somewhere that someone with PCOS should not be on any of the tri-phasic BCPs like tri-cyclen. In the very least, you should go an a different BCP like Ovcon 35 or Demulin (I think this is the name).

In any regards, I would suggest buying the book by Dr. Sam Thatcher "PCOS: The Hidden Epidemic" and researching yourself.
