vaniqa use and resultsFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 14 Mar 2001 15:25:23 -0600 (CST)
Just wanted to post about vaniqa. I've been using it for about a month and a half. I apply it twice daily to my chin, jawline, neck, sideburns, and over my lip. So far I'm still using the first tube. My insurance won't cover it because they say it's "cosmetic" - whatever. Don't get me started on that topic... :) The vaniqa is a little expensive, but for me it is worth every penny. Here it's selling for about $40.00. I figure that I may be able to make this tube last 2 months. So far I can tell some results - instead of having to pluck for 15-20 minutes a day, I am down to just a few minutes. Instead of lots of hairs to pluck, maybe 5 or 6. My skin is feeling a bit smoother, and so far I'm encouraged. I think that it works for the same reason that many of us have hair loss - the hair follicles have a reaction to the testosterone, and it make the hair stop growing. I may be completely off base with that one... Anyway, for those of you who are debating it - go for it! I can't tell you how much it's helped my self esteem. I wish I'd had this stuff ten years ago....
