symptoms of pcosFrom: Maria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 11 Mar 2001 07:39:47 -0600 (CST)
I have all the symptoms of PCOS. I have balding, facial hair, a huge middle stomach, occasional acne, skin tags, and no periods at all unless I take Provera for 1 week a month. I have checked my insulin level which is normal. I checked my testosterone level which is high for a women. What can I do? If I could get my testosterone level normal maybe my facial hair problem and balding would cease. (I work in a doctors office so I can have my blood work done any time.) I heard about taking B 12 and Zinc together and have actually bought these vitamins to take. Has anyone heard about anything I can do that might help with the loss of hair and facial hair? I have to admit, I am getting very self conscious. I am only 30 yrs old!!! I have one child I conceived with Clomid 9 yrs ago and want another child. I will see my doctor the 28th of this month and we will go from there I guess. If anyone has any info please let me know, and good luck to all of you who are trying to conceive!
