Hi Ann, I also take glucophage. The biggest problems I've had are gas and diarrhea. But considering I'm one of the ones that PCOS causes to have extremely heavy periods, I felt I could deal with those problems for a few months until the bleeding became normal. Fortunately I did not have the extreme diarrhea that Zowie had on it. I've always been hypoglycemic, too, and I have not noticed any unusual problems with my blood sugar other than needing to eat very soon when I feel it going down. A good thing I've noticed is that my carb craving has all but disappeared and I have a lot more energy than I used to. I'm even able to work out which helps because I am diabetic, early type II, but still have to watch it.
