Hi JEn,

I would not boast I know, but I guess. Spironolactone is a diuretic originally and it is prescribed only in the US as an antiandorgen (for which it is only a weak one). Thus, as you stopped taking the diuretic some water accumulated in your body. A remark: yours is a tipical case of overmedication, because metformin alone would do the job of reducing the testosterone levels, so no need for an extra agent (spironolcatone) to do this.
