Reply: anonymous: "Re: Herbal treatments?" I have been recently diagnosed with PCO, after suffering with the syptoms for over 3 years. Tired of the Progesterone / Pill trick to induce and regulate my periods. I hate the way the meds make me feel ( excessively heavy periods, PMS, depression, etc.) so I am searching for some herbal remedies that would help. I have read one article that listed Saw Palmetto as an androgen blocker, but have not tried anything yet, for fear that I will aggravate things. I have alot of facial hair, a steady weight gain and at this point, I am not menstruating regularly. Any help would be appreciated.
