Hi, I have been on 2000mg. of Glucophage since December. Just after I adjusted the dosage to 1500mg., I started expriencing an abdominal pain on my right side. As soon as I had the pain, I saw a doctor and had an ultrasound. The results was OK. After that, I saw an GYN and he told me that the pain is one of the side effects of Gluchophage. But he didn't do any exam. We just talked. Because I hadn't had any period since I started taking Gluchophage, he told me to take Provera every last seven days of the month. I still have the pain, and I am really worried about it. Even though all the research I have done, I couldn't find anything saying that abdominal pain is normal. I have other side effects, such as diarrhea and metallic taste but I'm hanging there.. Please let me know if any of you had a pain like this....I am really afraid that this might something more serious!!! Thank you!! ASLIHAN
