She did check my ultrasound reports (had that done 1-25) and said they only noticed 1 cyst on my right ovary (last year, I was reported as having "numerous" ones on both, 3-5mm large. Can they really just "go away"? This would explain the lack of ovary pain for the past month or so.

Hi Zowie!

I'm glad you're feeling better. I think the met just might have been a factor in the diarrhea trouble....but there are tons of people experiencing the same symptoms with the flu going around, so it could be you had something like that too. Either way, since you've stopped since stopping the met, I'd stay off it for a little while until you've started to feel better again.

As far as the cysts going away...I'm not really sure what you had, but I know when I was on Pergonal and Metrodin and finally got pregnant with my son, (this is back in 1992), I hyperstimulated and ended up in the hospital with many huge fluid filled cysts on both ovaries. I felt really bloated and achey. Well, by keeping track of how things were going using ultrasounds, we watched them as the DID "shrink"....or be re-absorbed by my body....so, I guess the answer is YES, they can just "go away". The body is a miracle in the way it works. Granted, not all of us have the fortune to have EVERYTHING Work the way it "should", but it's nice to recognize times when something rather miraculous DOES go right for us, no matter how small the victory! As my cysts became smaller, the fullness and achey pain gradually went away too. Hope that gives you some help.....and hope!

Hugs,
