Is your OBGYN by any chance a male? Either way, I just don't agree with doctors who blow off their patients with a "that's normal......relax.....you'll get used to it" type of answer when the patients complain about something. Would THEY wish to put up with the same problems??? How would they feel if their precious beautiful wifeys started losing their hair as you've mentioned? I've heard that the scalp problems are quite common with many PCOS patients......as is thinning hair, but perhaps you DO have a link that is a direct result of the desogen. With so many options on the market, perhaps it'd be in your best interest to change meds.......if not get a second (or even third) opinion from other doctors who are more compassionate!

Best wishes!

Hugs,

i started taking it to clear up my skin, which has improved 99%. however, i must say that probably 40% of my scalp hair has thinned and i have developed pretty bad sebboreic dermatitis on my scalp. has anyone heard of this before? is it possible that i'm having an allergic reaction? my OBGYN says that this is a "normal" reaction and that within a year (!) my body should get become used to the disease and calm down... thanx. >
