Hello

I am 26 years old and did not have any symptoms of pcos until 3 years ago. I had a tuble 5 years ago I often wonder if that could cause my problem since most of what I have read says that it starts in youth and I never had any problems till after my 2nd child and the tuble which were 1 year apart. I went to the gyno 1 year ago and was told that my missed periods were pcos there were no tests run but from what I have read I do have almost all of the symptoms. The gyno put me on the BC pill which with that I am regular but I still was having problems with about every 3 mths I would start my period about 1 week before my sugar pills then have a 2 week period. I took my last BC pill 11/20/00 and did not have a period till 1/28/01 which was very light ... since the January period I have been experiencing horrible mood swings, pain in my overies both of them and bad migraines, which I have anyway but these are horrible. The pill caused at least 1 bad migraine a mth but I can deal with that if I don't have the mood swings. I plan on asking for a blood test when I can see the gyno again.. the reason I'm not seeing them yet is the lack of insurance. Is there anything other important tests that I should request them to do. I have thought of a sonogram to check my tuble to make sure nothing wacky has gone wrong with it. would that help with the pcos any? I would appriciate any sudjestion.

Thanks in advance..

oh if I left out any info just let me know
