As we all know how suffer with pcos we are not at all regular. My question is " Are there any long term side affects to takeing metformin for a long period of time. The reason i am asking is because not onlr do i have pcos my husband also had low sperm count nad refused to continue treatment until later. My thinking is that if i continue to take met. that i would give concieving a chance, because it only takes on swimmer. but i don't want to take met if there is a possiblity that it could be harmful to my body, with out something i would not ber regular. PS have taken met beforee we discovered problems with Husband and reaponed weel to it..
