Beth, I was diagnosed with PCO at 19 (I'm 36 too), and when I found out
earlier this year about the insulin connection, and the possible risks to my
health from diabeties, hypertension, heart disease, etc., I was frustrated
too!! All those wasted years that my condition just kept getting worse!
The funny thing is, I thought all my extra hair was because I'm part
Portuguese! Pretty funny, huh?
