i don't think head hair thickness necassarily has to do with testosterone - women can have thick head hair and no body hair problems...

i have read of a few women noticing this hair loss after starting met.

someone mentioned b-12 supplements being good for nails while on met... becaause met makes you absord less of this vitamin... i wonder if the same might be true for hair? if you're not well nourished, you can start losing hair very quickly - take it from a former anorexic. :) i still notice that under stress or when i am not eating well, my hair falls out a lot more in the shower, my hairbrush, etc. has the met been causing diareah (sp) in your daughter? maybe it's a malnutrition thing, not a medication thig exactly? just an idea...

i just started met three days ago and am hoping i don't have this side effect... :(

good luck!
