Hi all, A brief reintroduction, as I mainly lurk. My name is Kirsten, and I am a SAHM to my two boys (Oct 97 and March 99). I was diagnosed with PCOS after no cycle for four months after coming of the OCP in 1996. James was conceived after 4 mo of Clomid (no joy) and then 4 mo of FSH injections with HCG trigger. Then Matthew was a suprise bundle 16mo later!I am also a qualified midwife and work about a shift per week, and I'm married to David , who is completing his advanced training in Neurology - in fact we are moving to The USA for that in June. ANYWAY! Just thougt I would let you know I am taking the plunge and starting 500mg x 3 as of today. My obliging ob/gyn gave me the dose over the phone and David writes the prescription. I debated for a while as Matthew is still breastfeeding but I have looked at a lot of literature and weighed the risks and benefits. Wish me luck! Kirsten Australia
