200 mg of Prometrium may not be enough to bring on a period. For me, it took 300 mg. My doctor gave me 100 mg tabs and had me experiment for a couple months to see what worked the best. The maximum recommended dose is 400mg for 14 days. Usually, 300-400 mg for 10-12 days will do the trick. If it doesn't, then try the higher dose for a few extra days to give the endometrium a chance to build up.
